Evangelical House of God
Welcome to Evangelical House of God
Apostle Juanita G. Troy
Founder/Overseer/Pastor
Apostle Juanita accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal savior at the age of 12 in a Methodist church. Years later in 1971 feeling a burning desire for deeper spiritual growth, she rededicated her life to Christ and submerged herself under the leadership of the late great Evangelist Lily Levy.
Apostle Juanita then joined a local Baptist church where she marinated by serving faithfully for fourteen years. During this time, the Lord directed her to begin house-to-house prayer meetings. The services were conducted on Saturday nights. As the prayer band leader, Evangelist Troy entered into over 400 homes; prophesying, praying, and anointing those who attended the meetings. From those meetings, God directed Bishop Troy to found and pastor the Evangelical House of God. On June 26, 2007 she was ordained Apostle Juanita G. Troy.
Apostle Aaron Troy, Jr.
Co-Overseer/Co-Pastor
Apostle Aaron accepted the Lord Jesus in his youth while attending a Presbyterian church. Later, he joined the US Army and served valiantly for 24 years before retiring in rank as an E7. Apostle Aaron rededicated his life to Christ in 1976 five years after his beloved wife.
He joined the local church along with his wife and steadfastly moved up the spiritual ranks. From 1976 to 1993, He made the progression from Brother Troy to Bishop Troy while accepting his calling as co-pastor of Evangelical House of God. On June 26, 2007 he was ordained Apostle Aaron Troy, Jr.
Elder Rudolph Womble
Associate Pastor
Elder Rudolph attended a Baptist church in his youth. Later, he joined the US Army and served faithfully for 20 years of service before retiring as an E7. In 1988 Elder Rudolph's life changed forever when he attended a prayer meeting held by Evangelist Troy's prayer band. She emanated a glow that he still remembers to this day. Shortly afterwards, he accepted Christ as his personal savior. From 1988 to 1996, Brother Womble became Elder Womble while accepting the role as associate pastor.
